Season 1 , Episode 5
Totes Rad is an audio podcast which doubles as a book club where hosts Gemma, Jazz, and Sharpie combine forces to read, discuss, and dissect banned books.
In this two-part episode, we cover the first half of Chapter 4 from the book “White Rage” by Carol Anderson.
“White Rage” was written by Carol Anderson, a professor of African American Studies at Emory University. Originally an op-ed in the Washington Post, this book was written due to media commentators (across the ideological spectrum) referring to the 2014 angry African American response towards Ferguson, Missouri as “black rage”. By linking historical flashpoints in American history, Anderson adds an important new dimension to the national conversation about race in America.

Love the jazz dichotomy. That was the first I listened to but hearing you be so well structured in your analysis is so funny knowing how much goofy posting you do.
